Dear Brother and Sister in Christ

WOW! ... That's all we can say. This past month was amazing. We saw firsthand what God can do when you step out in faith. God showed His faithfulness and realness daily.

We are presently in Swakopmund, Namibia.

Since we started from Velddrif, the Lord has continually provided us free accommodation, free meals, protection, etc. So many times we were at the right place at the right time where God showed His greatness and provision. We have been doing street and prison evangelism since we left. The hunger for the truth and a real relationship with Jesus was evident. We have let individuals as well as groups to the Lord, even on Jono's 21st birthday on the 17th birthday (people sincerely prayed the salvation prayer on their knees on that day). We have preached in churches, prayed for people, laid hands on the sick and shared the Gospel with loads of people, young and old, and of all nationalities (even Chinese!).

Please pray for the softening of the hearts of the Germans in Swakopmund and Walvis Bay.

Last Sunday we did some Prison Ministry in Walvis Bay. 7 people gave their hearts to the Lord in tears.

Don't think everything was easy. We have received persecution from people who were against the Gospel and against Missionaries. We have also learned the hard way that our 30kg+ rucksacks are quite heavy on long distances. Without water in desert-like conditions for a whole day (Oops, we forgot water) and a walking distance of about 20km in scorching heat was just one of our lowlights.

We are presently helping at TBN Namibia with some projects and we are also awaiting a team whom we are going to assist us with beach evangelism for December. Early January we will be on the move again to assist missionaries with the Hista Tribes in the Northern part of Namibia.
