Blessings in Jesus Name!
This last month while traveling back to S.A, has being a combination
of traveling and sharing about the realness and awesomeness of Jesus
Christ in Africa the last year.
When arriving back in South Africa we both felt a sense of joyfulness
and sadness. Joyful to be back in civilization and sad for not being
somewhere in Africa. Africa has and always will be a part of us, and
knowing that God has Africa locked up in His heart makes all things
worth the while.
By being back in S.A it felt a bit strange not to sleep under mosquito
nets and not to rub insect repellant on every evening. But praise God
for mosquito nets and insect repellant when needed!
Looking back at the past year we really and truly could see God's
hand moving mightily in our midst. The special way that He touched
His people and changed there lives and ours especially. And as His
Word best describes; we were like clay in the Masters hand, being formed,
shaped and built-up, to be rooted and grounded in His perfect love
at the end of the day. To be useful and ready, prepared for every good
work. Less of us and more of Him. To be totally captivated by His awesome
beauty and presence. And to live out of that glorious experiences,
moment by moment.
We could really say that things like dust, mosquitoes, flies, heat,
cold showers, car trouble, water shortage, loneliness, rejection, bad
food, cultural shocks, etc. was all issues that we had to deal with.
Sometimes the loneliness and the unknown was
painful and overwhelming. But in moments like these His Word, His
presence, faithfulness and kindness filled us to such an extent that
we could quote the words of Paul Acts 20:24 “but none of these
things moved me, neither count I my life dear to myself, so that
I may finish my cause with joy?”
We could really see how the Holy Spirit moved and dealt with us, and
although we are not perfect, our heart's desire is to die within ourselves
so that Jesus Christ in all His fullness may work and live through
us.
Being human, there were times that we really felt sorry for ourselves,
but once the truth of His Word became a revelation in our hearts, and
allowing the Holy Spirit to empower us, we could move forward again
with passion and determination.
Looking back from where we started with backpacks and walked over
4000 kilometers to where we are at now, blessed with a Land Cruiser
and a trailer, and a lot of equipment to be more effective for the
Kingdom of God. We can honestly say our God is awesome, He is truly
Jehovah Jireh, our provider.
Also looking back we realized that we were
in malaria areas and was exposed to many different diseases without
being infected. Again His Word came through for us "by His stripes
we are healed... no plaque will came near us... Praise His wonderful
Name!
One thing that has grown within us, is the love for people and the
longing to see every person saved and in heaven. This desire has shaken
us to such an extent that many a time we just burst out in tears for
those that did not make the decision to accept Jesus as their Savior.
Surely there are times when people reject the true message of the cross
and those who live their lives and religious lifestyles, never to realize
it's all about a loving relationship with our heavenly Father.
We want to thank the Lord for our dear brothers and sisters in Christ
who faithfully prayed for us constantly and had sponsored us through
out this year.
May our heavenly Father bless you more exceedingly abundantly above
all that you can ever ask for.

During December we will be preaching/sharing in churches, cell groups,
schools, prisons ect. as the Holy Spirit leads us.
We also will be leaving on our next mission on the 3 January 2006.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is leading us to share the gospel
in Ethiopia and Sudan for a great part of 2006. We also feel a prompting
in our spirits to start moving through wards the middle-east.
If there is any person out there that would like to chare this great
experience with us and are being led by the Spirit, please feel welcome
to contact us by e-mail. jono@travelmission.com
We realize that the harvest is plenty, but the workers are few.
Please pray for us for wisdom, guidance, provision, protection. But
most of all for the harvest to come in.
We desire to fulfill the call of Mark 16:15 to ?Go onto the entire
world and preach the Gospel? and we also desire for you to fulfill
that call as well.
Your donation will aid us as we preach the Gospel in remote and unreached
areas, impact others who will in turn impact others who will impact
all generations worldwide with the truth and power of the Gospel. All
gifts, great or small, will be appreciated.
