Dear brothers, sisters and partners in Christ
We are presently stuck in Lusaka
due to a broken gear box and we will shortly be slowly
on our way to Malawi.
This past month was truly a time of giving and receiving.
We faced rejection and persecution many times while sharing the Good
News, but the goodness of God has erased all the negatives to show His
mercy every day.
While in Lusaka we met a lovely Afrikaans couple,
Gustav and Esmé Wessels, in a church that invited us into their
home with Christ like hospitality and later also blessed us with brand
new tyres on our vehicle.
We then had to leave Lusaka and stayed in Livingstone
where Len preached in a church for nearly 2 hours.
(Only two people fell asleep in this congregation of about 300 people.
That was an improvement!)
As we visited Ebenezer
Orphanage, the founder, Ranji, and her daughter, Jeevani, gave a
laptop to us. Thank you Jesus.
We then went to Victoria Falls Town in Zimbabwe to
wait for friends who came to visit us and to supply us with some new
equipment. While waiting, we stayed for free at Victoria falls Back
Packers. We shared the Gospel everywhere, especially within the Back
Packers.
We could sense that the Lord's guidance was especially towards the tourists.
We met many atheist, Buddhist, Islam and Jewish tourists that we had
the privilege of sharing the Gospel to. One particular day, while Len
was sitting in an open fenced dorm, the Holy Spirit urged him to minister
to a local, Raphael. He gladly received the Lord and has attended church
for the last two weeks and is truly a changed man. (2 Cor 5:17).
Now there is always a smile on his face. Another time, after we shared
the Gospel with a French doctor, he said that "he is not one of
our clients", but we just kept on loving him and explaining that
he has to make a decision between life and death while on this earth.
We became very affiliated with the owners, Dennis
and Marina, and staff. We could spend lovely time together about God's
Word, motivating and edifying each other.
When our friends from Namibia arrived, oh what a joyful
reunion this was. We spent nearly a week with them in a Lodge in Zimbabwe.
This week was truly a time of receiving, sharing, laughter and edifying.
One particular day while riding in a bus, praising and worshiping the
Lord loudly, some people in the bus hummed with us, others sang with
us, but others were deeply offended.
When our friends left, we went to the townships and
villages to minister to the sick and many received Christ in their lives.
We were also stuck in Zimbabwe for nearly a week,
due to a lack of petrol. This was very frustrating. Every time a petrol
tank arrived, we stood I a queue for hours, but when we were half way
the petrol was finished. Late one night we managed to fill our car.
We drove back to Lusaka.
Some more good news is that Jono also received a
cell phone, given by a friend of ours, Andrinette.
Body of Christ, please pray for all the souls that
did not make the decision for Him, especially all the European tourists.
We sense a hardness of heart towards God from most Europeans.
Beloved, we really do not like staying in big cities
as we feel that it is over evangelized. We desperately need to go to
the rural areas and therefore are still in need of a projector, sound
system and a DVD player. Thank you for your support.
We desire to fulfil the call of Mark 16:15 to "go
into all the world and preach the Gospel" and we also desire to
see you fulfil that call as well. Your donation will aid us as we preach
the Gospel in remote and un reached areas impact others who will impact
others who will impact all generations worldwide with the truth and
power of the Gospel. All gifts great or small will be appreciated.

might have missed a few, our old newsletters are now also available

Thank you for your prayers and support.
In His service
Len and Jono
