Happy New Year everyone. We pray that you will have an amazing 2012 filled with His presence and guidance. We pray that the Lord will supply your every need, spiritually, emotionally and physically. We trust that this year will be above your expectations - Eph 3:20: " Now unto him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the Lord's power that works in us."
We are back in South Africa for a short time of preparation. Thereafter we plan to start training teams and then to lead them on Outreaches, to the unreached ethnic groups of the world.
In order to equip ourselves for this task, we completed two practical courses. The first was the Rescue Net Course, in Salem, which trained us to assist as First Responders in disaster areas. Immediately thereafter, we went to Asheville in North Carolina to do the MMI - Intensive Missions Medical course. Many valuable practical skills were acquired. How to give injections, put stitches in, how to insert stomach tubes, diagnose many sicknesses and even to pull teeth etc. Both these courses were extremely intense and the hours were long, but we can honestly say it was worth every minute. What we learnt in such a short time, was mind boggling, but we trust that the Lord will help us to apply this knowledge to impact lives and for people to not only hear about Jesus, but see Him in our actions of love.
Then off to Los Angeles, to teach the Call2all, YWAM DTS students, for a week, on evangelism, after which they left on their Outreach. We both enjoyed this immensely. There were many opportunities to preach the Gospel in restaurants, shops, banks and in the streets. We found some hardened hearts but sometimes tears when we prayed for them, right there where they were.
The new season in our lives has started and we are very excited but also very uncertain. We will be teaching and leading teams to areas where the Gospel has not been preached before. To places where there are no Christians or churches, to places where the people are difficult to reach, to areas where darkness reigns and sin abounds. Now is the time more than ever before that we need support and prayer.
We will be working with Call2all, Finishing the Task and Y4K-Mapping to finish the command of Jesus, to preach the Gospel to "all the nations" (ethnic groups) before He can return. Mat 24:14 " And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come". Most of the missions organizations are working with Call2all and the exciting news is not only about the unity between the organizations and churches, but also that there will be very little overlapping in reaching the 2 billion people that have never heard the Gospel. Also many organizations and churches have taken responsibility to reach the unreached in our generation.

OUR IMMEDIATE NEEDS:
We believe the Lord for Audio Bibles because most people in the unreached areas are illiterate. Actually, most of them are oral cultures and don't even have a written language. We will have to leave these Audio Bibles with the people and fortunately they are solar rechargeable. These "Bibles" will be in their own language and they have a very loud speaker so that many can listen to it together. This will enable us to minister physical help to the people and it's a great foot in the doorway to be able to minister the love and words of Jesus.
- Another need is an Optical (Glasses) kit, or as it's also called the I-see kit that contains 400 metal-framed pairs of eyeglasses in three different sizes, four positive and four negative optical powers. For testing a patient's vision, each kit includes: two vision 'lens ladders', two laminated vision test charts, and an optical technician's tool kit comprised of an exam light.

PRAYER POINTS
- Please agree with us for wisdom that we will be able to teach the teams that will accompany us on the outreaches to the unreached.
- Pray that the Lord will provide sponsors for the above mentioned needs for the outreach purposes.
- Thank God for protecting us during the outreaches and that He enabled us to share the Gospel daily to Atheists, Moslems, Hindus, Buddhists, etc. and that we could visit and edify other missionaries, and that we were able to train outreach teams so far away.
- We thank the Lord for His Divine protection and provision.
- Thank Him for the people who came to the knowledge of Christ and got saved.
- Thank Him and pray that all the seed that was planted through sharing and gospel tracts will grow and that the mind of their understanding being enlightened in the knowledge of Him. Eph 1
- Pray for missionaries for protection, provision and that this will be a time of rest (spiritual, emotional and physical) for them and that they will be refreshed.
- Pray for more Divine appointments and that He will give us more opportunities to preach and to train people everywhere.
- Pray and stand in agreement that the Lord will provide all our needs and the needs of the missionaries who have sacrificed everything to serve Him...
- Pray that the Lord will guide us for His plan and purpose in 2012.
